Marjie Holdsworth Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marjie Ruth Holdsworth (nee Kay) of Kamloops, BC on July 11, 2022. She was the loving wife of Eric for 66 years who predeceased her in 2017. Marjie is fondly remembered by her daughters, Barb (Ern) and Janice (Barry), and was predeceased by her adored son Jason in 1994.
She was Nana to Shannon, Brett, Steven and Devan and was predeceased by grandsons Damon and Dylan. She was blessed with six great-grandchildren Abby, Justin, Hannah, Joshua, Olivia and Mylah.
Marjie cherished her time with Eric at Wild Rose Bay in the lovely log house they built together for their retirement. They welcomed family and friends often to share and enjoy their wonderful haven.
In Marjie's lifetime, she was a school secretary, an avid reader mostly of history, an artist and she played the piano beautifully. She was a woman full of grace and poise. There was nothing Marjie liked better than family, good company, and a cigarette paired with a glass of her homemade red wine with her best friend Teddy the cat, by her side.
Those we love don't go away

Memorial Service for Marjie Ruth Holdsworth will be held at the Eagle Bay Community Church 4802 Eagle Bay Road, Eagle Bay, BC on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
