Naranjan Sangha Obituary
After a lengthy illness, Naranjan Singh Sangha passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Nanjo is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Pritam Kaur, children Dilbag (Surinder) Sangha, Tim (Lorraine) Brookes and Nadine Brookes; grandchildren Jacki (Tom) Hughes, Paul (Angela) Sangha, Goma (David) Ghag, Nicky (Rajan) Maddh, Chelsey Brookes and Eric Brookes; great grandchildren Gemma Hughes and Serena Ghag.
Nanjo was born in Langeri, Punjab, India. Aboard the empress of Russia, Nanjo first came to Canada on October 26, 1929. Since his arrival, he spent four years in Kelowna and 19 years in Paldi, BC, before settling down in Kamloops in 1952. He spent 43 years in the forest industry, owning mills in Greenwood, Golden, Field, Barriere, Blue River, and Kamloops before retiring in 1980.
Called a pioneer within the Indo-Canadian Community, Nanjo had numerous friends and acquaintances. Whenever he was needed he could always be found at either the Stockmen? Hotel (Executive Inn) having coffee or ?hanging out? at Syd Smiths (Smith Chev Olds).

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way, with cremation following. Friends are then invited to a reception at the Sikh Temple, 700 Cambridge Crescent. Arrangements are entrusted to Schoening Funeral Service,
