Violet Bryden Obituary

Violet (Vi) Bryden of Kamloops, BC passed away July 23, 2003 at 92 years of age. She is survived by her loving children Judy Russell of Kamloops and Doug (Anne) Bryden of Grand Forks, BC. Also left to remember her are grandchildren Dianne Russell of Vancouver, Audra (Jim) Holloway and their daughter Brittnay of Dawson Creek, Kristopher (Kathryn) Bryden of Vancouver and Brad Russell of Seattle WA, sisters Minnie Mitchell and Bess Sweeten, both of Kamloops, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Her beloved husband, Archie Bryden (Cranbrook), predeceased her in October 1981.

Vi was an outgoing, happy person who enjoyed a good joke. Her warm personality was enjoyed both by family and friends. She frequently played bridge and bingo in her spare time while completing crossword puzzles in record time. She enjoyed life to the end.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Anders and staff of Royal Inland Hospital.

A Memorial Service took place at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 28, 2003 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel. Vi will be laid to rest in the Cranbrook Cemetery at a later date.
