Randy Chernoff Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Chernoff on April 24, 2024.
Randy was born on April 13, 1962, to parents George and Kay Chernoff. While raised in Regina, Randy was happiest when spending time at the family cottage at Madge Lake. He made many friends while pursuing his passion for numerous watersports, snowmobiling, skiing and lake life in general.
Shortly after graduating high school, Randy moved permanently to the lake, where he met his love and life partner, Donna Dewores. Together, they built their life on a nearby acreage where they lived for 38 years, surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness, and always spent summers at Madge. In 1990, Randy purchased Kamsack Tire, which he operated until his death.
Randy had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humour. He enjoyed the simple things in life - good food, a Rickers Red, and spending a relaxing Sunday watching a Rider game on the deck at the lake. He loved studying quantum physics and tinkering with anything mechanical and had many projects lined up for his upcoming retirement.
At a young age, he competed in motocross and was an avid motorcyclist all his life, enjoying his collection of dirt, sport and touring bikes. He also took part in numerous mountain snowmobiling trips throughout the years with friends.
Randy obtained his pilot's license and spent years researching various airplanes with the goal of purchasing one to participate in aerobatics, a dream that was never fulfilled.
Left to cherish Randy's memory are his devoted life partner, Donna Dewores; sister, Donna Boyd (Michael) of Stuart, FL; beloved nephew, Michael Boyd Jr of Boston, MA; as well as his dear cousins, their families, and many friends.
Randy, you left us way too soon, but you will remain forever in our hearts, where we hold dear the countless stories, much laughter, and many happy memories that we shared.
