It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Lee on April 30,
2023. Patricia was the daughter of the late Jack and Doreen Campbell, and cherished sister of Doreen and Claire (deceased). She is survived by her children, Todd and Robyn, who she gifted her many life lessons, a lifelong love of learning, and her delightfully silly sense of humour.
Patricia was a wonderful friend to many and was always available to talk or listen, offer words of comfort, a hug, or a helping hand. Pat loved to read and instilled that lifelong love into her children from a young age. She always seemed to have a book in hand, spending hours curled up on a blanket under the trees in her backyard or at the park. She also had a great love for nature with innumerable summer days passed with her children at Gairloch Gardens to see the geese, or on long walks at Rattray Marsh Conservation Area, where she would excitedly point out all the different types of trees, flowers, and birds. Her own garden in her modest backyard was a constant source of joy -- never have you seen anyone so proud of her Japanese Maple. Patricia also always had a special place in her heart for animals, cats in particular, and passed that love to her children as well.
Pat had a smile that would brighten any room and make you feel warm and loved. She
was the glue that kept her family together and she brought out the best in all of us. She will be deeply, deeply missed.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Billings Court Manor in Burlington, ON, who provided her with warm and compassionate care in her final years. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or to the David Suzuki Foundation.
