WWII Veteran (17th Duke of York's Royal Canadian Hussars)
Passed away at Sunnybrook Veteran's Centre, Toronto on Friday March 17, 2023, in his 98th year. Husband of the late Maureen (nee Edmondson) and father of Thomas Charles, Richard Christopher (Nancy), and Donald George. Grandfather to Angela (Chris), Brian (Cathy), and Katherine Anne. Great-grandfather to Angela and Chris' daughter Ivy. Predeceased by siblings Thomas Charles and Marion. The family will receive visitors at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., Milton, (905) 878-4452, on Thursday,, March 23, 2023 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, 139 Martin St., Milton. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Sunnybrook Veteran's Centre would be appreciated.
