Armand Wesley Solman of Baysville, previously Gravenhurst, passed away suddenly on January 14th, at the age of 72 at Southlake Regional Hospital. Armand was married to the love of his life Noreen for 48 years and raised four amazing sons, Brad (Suzzane), Paul (Jen), Jeff (Angie) and predeceased son Ryan (Nicole). Armand was grateful for his family, and so proud of his ten grandchildren, Mackenzie, Carson, Ava, Isaac, Bella, Noella, Brody, Jordan, Brennan, and Jase. Armand is survived by his brother and sister Harley (Brenda) and Kathryn (Manny) and predeceased by his parents Melvin and Barbara of Huntsville, and sister Monica of North Bay. Armand lived life to the fullest and was always up for an adventure. His love for hockey, His children and grandchildren meant that he was the happiest when he was either taking them to or watching them play hockey. Armand loved camping, golfing, playing horseshoes, enjoying family time playing, swimming, or the simplicity of having ice cream. It was all about family and time together. His Family, including siblings, nieces and nephews were the light of his life, and he will be a light that shines on in everyone who knew or met him. Funeral service for Armand will be held on Thursday January 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at the church commencing at 1:00 p.m., at Bethune United Church in Baysville. Reception to follow at the church. Interment to take place in the spring. The family kindly asks that in Memorial donations be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
