What a gem ! You only meet so
many truly unique characters in
a lifetime and David was one !
From the crazy golf antics, the
confusion with menus and the
well published poker skills, NO
one can ever quite explain him.
He drove me nuts at times but
I wouldn’t have missed a day of
it you put up a battle few could imagine Rest In Peace my friend.

David was a very likeable character. He was always up beat and positive.
He loved golf - the companionship and the wagering ( 4 for 2, 4 for 2 ).
He will be missed by all who knew him.

My good friend David Islip had no filter! That one quality made for some hilarious conversations at the Club and everywhere else. He was such fun to be with and a very generous man to his family and friends. He was very brave near the end having to endure and survive so many serious medical issues. Loved him and will miss him, Johnny.

With more energy and mischief in mind than anyone else i’ve met, David constantly stirred the pot, entertaining us all!! He will be greatly missed by his many friends and Wednesday’s are not the same without him.
