Donald CAMBRIDGE Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Russell Cambridge in his 82nd year. Don passed away peacefully with his wife Gloria by his side.
Born on September 16, 1940, Don grew up in Etobicoke with his brothers Jim & Jake and their beloved parents Jim & Ruth. To this day many of his best friends are those he met almost 80 years ago in Kindergarten at Humber Valley JS!
Don was married to his "Lady in Red" Gloria for 57 years and was a proud father to his children Allison, and Michael (Gillian) and a loving Grandpa & Poppie to Fraser, Harrison, Lila, and Charlotte.
A respected member of Toronto's printing industry, Don worked at Arthurs-Jones and formed many lifelong friendships.
When Don wasn't on the Golf Course working toward his 6th hole in one, he could be found on the Sparkling Lakes of Muskoka water-skiing (where he first caught Glo's eye), or enjoying many a "Rum Sunday '. The Annual Cambridge Christmas Eve party was a particular favorite among their incredible and vast group of friends . Don & Glo cherished their time in both Country Creek and Pine Ridge. Don's infectious smile and love for life was adored by everyone he met.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his memory at a later date. Don loved Music; so In lieu of flowers, we suggest a donation to the Rotary "Rocks The Barge" in his name so everyone can keep Dancing. (visit www.rotaryrocksthebarge.com)

Dear Gloria, Alison and Michael... my condolences. What fun I had at your home inToronto Gloria.... crazy time at the pool. bob and I always enjoyed our times with you and Donnie. So sad we haven't spent time in the last few years. My heart is with you. I know Donnie has struggled in the past few years, and although it is hard, know that he is at peace. He is out of pain. It is the circle of life and it was his time. Remember him with a smile... there are still lots of laughs to be had. Stay well. My arms around you giving you a great big hug. Diane Lefevre.
