Gerald Melvin "Jerry" TAYLOR

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Melvin (Jerry) Taylor in his 92nd year who passed away peacefully at Muskoka Algonquin Hospital (formerly South Muskoka Hospital) on June 20, 2022 at 4:30 a.m. Loving son of William J. J. Taylor (deceased) and Myrtle (Lebarr) (deceased). Loving wife of June (62 years) and their 5 daughters Barbara Hiles (Greg), Debbie Mitchell (Mike), Bonnie (Don Perry), Carrie (Jason), and Kathy. Gerald also leaves 3 grandchildren John Mitchell (Kayla), Kayla Mitchell (Ian), and Brennen Perry and 1 great-grandchild Mason Mitchell. Predeceased by brothers Kenneth Taylor (Elenor) and Lloyd Taylor and sister Rita Towle (Jim). Gerald will be missed by his nieces and nephews; Arlen Tompkins (Brian), Darren Taylor (Dawn), Billy Towle (Jody) and Shelly Armstrong. Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge one hour prior (1 p.m. - 2 p.m.) to the funeral service on Friday June 24th at 2 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or a Charity of Your Choice.
