With heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Harvey Gregory Bainbridge at his home in Hillside on June 2, 2022. Born June 6, 1937, he is the beloved son of Violet Ezeard and Herb Bainbridge. Loving husband of the late Betty Bainbridge (nee Card). Cherished father of Harvey, Arthur (Sherry), Rosemarie (Kevin), and Michelle (Bill). Loving grandfather of Steven, Tasha (Colin), Sandra, Tabitha (Elvis), Josh (Melissa), Amber (Chris), Ashli (Joe), Jasmin (Derek), Brandy, Tamara (John), Devon (Emily) and Coleman (Haley). Great-grandfather of Candace, Hunter, Makayla, Quinn, River, Taylor (dec.), Aaron, Brodie, Peyton, Vann, Colton, Kaylee, Sofia, Maggi, Henry (dec), Raigan, Elisabeth, Isabella, Walker, Kyra, Autumn, Khaleesi, Hendrix and the anticipated arrival of Maverick. Beloved brother of Wayne (dec.) (Belinda), Pete (dec.), Lorne (dec.) (Marg dec.), Brian, Shirley (dec.) (Warren), Norma (dec.) (Tom dec.), Lil (dec.) (Bob dec.) Linda (Arnie), Theresa (Wes), Pat (dec.) (Jim dec.), Donny (dec.), Wayne (Helen), Doug (Darlene), Sandy (Jim), Vivian (Richard dec.), Terry, Hazel and John. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
The visitation was held on Monday, June 6, 2022, at Billingsley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception followed the funeral service. Mr. Bainbridge was laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
