Lawrence PRETTY Obituary

Peacefully at his daughter's home in Pefferlaw on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the age of 83 years. Larry Pretty of Dwight, beloved husband of Anne Marie (nee Bloor). Dear father of Wendy Dakins (Edmund) of Pefferlaw and Shawn Pretty of Novar. Loving grandfather of Jocelyn Marie of Pefferlaw and Kaylie Elizabeth (Kevin Campbell) of Brantford and great grandfather of Kaden. Dear brother of Carol Ann Beatty of Niagara Falls and Donald (Cheryl) of Strathroy and brother-in-law of Elaine of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by his brother Bob and his parents Florence (nee Burritt) and Melvin Pretty. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Larry was well known for his company Pretty's Towing servicing a large area around Dwight. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Larry's life will be held in the Dwight area in the near future. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, 905-722-3274. Memorial donations to Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation, Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.

My cousin Larry inspired me to become a specialized auto mechanic, but I could never be as good as him. My condolences go out to the Pretty family.

CAA Dispatch affectionately called him "Uncle Larry". He was a hard working and kind man who loved nothing more than to help people. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about towing and was well know and respected in his area. He will be missed by many. Thank you for your years of service Larry. Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Larrys passing . I worked with him and his brother Bob at Border Pontiac where we were more like family than just fellow workers. I lost touch with Larry but thought of him often. RIP my friend.
