Quinn BRADETTE Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorna Bradette on December 15, 2020 with her husband and son by her side after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 70. Lorna was born on October 13, 1950 in Huntsville, Ont. and is survived by her husband of 46 years Michel Bradette and her sons Sean, David (Blessie) and Alain. She will also be greatly missed by her brothers, Russell (Bonnie), Bill (Jackie) and sister, Barb, as well as her grandchildren Dylan and new baby Caleb. She was also a cherished sister in law to Jean Guy, Jacques, Lise, Daniel and Huegette and aunt, great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Helen Quinn. Lorna spent her youth on the family farm in Ufford. She found her calling young, working with troubled youth and later she and Michel opened their home to many foster children from northern first nation communities. Once retired they split their time between their home in North Bay and Manzanillo Mexico. She enjoyed being outdoors and spent many hours tending her gardens. In keeping with her wishes Lorna has been cremated and her ashes will be interred in the family plot at the Ufford Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and close friends
