Ronald MacDONALD Obituary

Passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by family on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the age of 73. Ron MacDonald, formerly of New Waterford, Cape Breton, beloved husband of Vicki MacDonald (nee Tattrie). Loving father of Raun, Ian (Ashley) and stepfather to David (Kaila) and Kim Pryce. Cherished papa to Sophia, Scarlett, Caden, Paige and Avery. Dear brother of John, Isabel, Florence, Ann, and Duncan (predeceased). Ron will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and his many friends. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the OSPCA through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia L3V 1L1, 705 327-0221. One special memory I have that really stands out is the day you and Vicki re did your wedding Vowes for a second tim.
The smile on your face says it all, it was from ear to ear, it was awesome you were glowing all day..
In the evening as we all sat around the fire pit as we have done many times before listening to the live entertainment which was amazing ... you can see that you were just so enjoying everything and everyone arond you...
Ron it was a honor to have known you ..

My most deepest Condolences to Vicki and family and friends for the passing of Ron. He will be sadly missed but, never forgotten.

I went with Ron and Vicki to Cuba in 2019. We had such a good time. I have pictures of those 2 having such a good time on the Catamaran going to swim with the dolphin! Us girls enjoyed the Rum punch and Ron just smiled with his eyes. He made me feel that I belonged no matter what was going on. He was a good friend. I will miss him large!! Hugs to his family and Vicki!
