Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia, at age 96. Mildred (nee Miller), beloved wife of the late Hugh MacDonald (2014). Loving mother of Janette Pilgrim (deceased) (John) of Sunderland, Gail Harrington (Jim) of Orangeville, and Ralph (Janet) of Sutton. Beloved Grandmother of George (Carrie), Charlene (Lorne), Denise (Paul), David (Terri), Colleen (Will), and Stephanie (Michael). Great Grandmother of Alicia, Cara, Ben, Brooklyn, Meghan, Kayleigh, Taryn, Molly, Izzy, Maddie, Lexie and Wolfie. Great-great-grandmother of Cyrus. Predeceased by her sisters and brother. Will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Resting at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street South, Cannington (705-432-2672). Visitation on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 12-2 p.m. with service to celebrate her life at 2 p.m. Interment at Sunderland Cemetery.
