Catherine Thomson Scanlan has passed away peacefully at Fenelon Court nursing home. Catherine was in her 91st year and was the wife of the late David Patterson Scanlan and sister of the late James Thomson, William Thomson, Annie Young, Maureen Hughes and Grace Duffy. Survived by her sister Margaret Davidson of Glasgow Scotland, and her brother John Thomson of Melbourne Australia. Loving mother of Michael Scanlan (Tammy), Pauline Petersen (Jawny) and Donna Ormston (Chris). She was the mother of the late Derek David Scanlan, granny to Marsha, Tracy, David, Kayla, Sean, Michael, Katie, Brad (Nikole), Cameron (Jillian), Christopher (Jessica), Brandon, Hannah, Shane and great-granny to Skye, Lucy, Jayden, Damion, Kaliya, Colin, Emma, Sonya, Kalli, Zoey, Weston, Sierra, Eva, Molly, Sophia, Baby O and all her nieces nephews here and overseas and close family friends Beatrice and Maureen. The family of Mrs. Scanlan will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Aloysius/Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery. Memorial donations to Fenelon Falls Community Care would be appreciated.
