December 27, 1924 - May 23, 2023 (age 98)
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, with family by her side. Clara was predeceased by her cherished husband Glenn Peterson and son Darryl Peterson. Survived by loving son Dennis Peterson (Wanda). Remembered by grandchildren Kim Chung (Karl) of Lindsay and Ken Peterson (Tanya) of Newmarket. Loved by great-grandchildren Kayla, Katelyn (Leo), Logan, and Ashley. Survived by sister Doris Reynolds (Bob) of Peterborough. Predeceased by siblings Marion Bush (Albert), Edith Cutt (John), Grace Carr (Glen), Lloyd Huyck, and Les Huyck (Kathleen). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Caressant Care Long Term Care Facility on Mary Street West, Lindsay, for all the excellent care you provided for many years, as well as the staff at Lakeland Funeral Centre for their invaluable guidance during this difficult time. There will be a memorial reception held on Friday, May 26, 2023, from the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre (19 MOOSE ROAD, LINDSAY, ONTARIO). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
