Owner of Pardy's Variety in Lindsay, entered into rest peacefully at Lakeland Village on Monday, January 18th, 2021. Clyde was born on September 5th, 1932, in Bonavista, Newfoundland, a son to Benjamin and Elizabeth Pardy. Even though he left Newfoundland at the young age of 16, it remained home in his heart. Clyde was predeceased by his wife Ida in 2015 after 50 wonderful years together. He is survived by his nieces Paulette, Pamela, Denise, Jewel, Edie and Janice and by his nephews Clayton and Clifton. He will be remembered for his friendship, humour and grace by the Montgomery and Beers families. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a small funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 28th at the Mackey Funeral Home with interment following at Coboconk Cemetery (Please call Mackey Funeral Home for details). Memorial donations to the Salvation Army Citadel in Lindsay would be appreciated and can be arranged through the Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, or online at
