Corey Playter Obituary

Passed on May 3, 2022 at PRHC in his 38th year. Cherished son of Bonnie Martin/Daddy Rick and Jeffrey Playter/Lori. Brother to Jeremy Playter, Kim Fitzgerald, Sheila Turcotte, Denise Martin, Dennis Martin and families. Brothers of his heart Brandon Zomok/Sara and Jeremy (Hood)/Tina. Corey will be missed by Uncle Brian McMurtry (Sandra predeceased) and cousin Matthew. Special uncle to Gavin, Brayson and Hunter. Forever friend of Jenny Wright. Missed by his dog Ripper and cat Tokie.
Corey loved having a blended family. He loved his friends and made people feel at ease with his sense of humor and his big smile and never judged anyone. As an organ donor, our Hero has already helped several families. Donations can be made to Lakefield Animal Welfare or Toronto Sick Kids Hospital in memory of Corey. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
