David MURRAY Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing away of David Bruce Murray, 89 years old, of Woodville, Ontario. He died peacefully in his sleep on February 21, 2023. David was born on February 14, 1934, in Perth, Scotland, to David and Euphemia Murray. After immigrating to Canada in 1955 to finish his plumber's apprenticeship, David went on to have a career in plumbing and helped build York University in Toronto in 1965. David raised two kids with his first wife Elsie (Elizabeth). David bought a farm and raised pigs. He later married Ruth Anne. They bought a farm together; where David farmed mostly Black Angus cattle until he retired. David is survived by his wife Ruth Anne Murray, his two sons Chris and Leslie Wayne, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, Ontario, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Friends are welcome to attend.
