Donna Watson Obituary
Donna entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her home in Bobcaygeon at the age of 83. Donna was the beloved wife of the late Jim Watson (a WWII veteran born in Ireland). Loving mother to Jim Watson (Jonna) and Margie Watson (Karl Swindells). Dear gramma to Becca and James.
She was born in Toronto and her family enjoyed spending summers in Fenelon Falls. As newlyweds, she and Jim owned and operated a marina in Newmarket before living in and travelling all around Southern California. From there, they moved to the farm in Bobcaygeon and finally to the cozy bungalow in town.
Donna always looked up to her sister, Mary, and was deeply saddened by the passing of her brother, Fred, in 2016.
In keeping with Donna's wishes, cremation will be followed by a private interment at Bobcaygeon's Verulam Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be done through the Hendren Funeral Home, Monk Chapel.
