Edith Elizabeth Hale

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the peaceful passing of Edith Elizabeth (Betty) Hale, in her 101st year. Betty is predeceased by her loving husband Gil Hale. Betty will be fondly remembered by her family, extended family and friends. Formerly of Scarborough, Ontario, Betty moved to Fenelon Falls with her husband where they lived for many years and considered home. They were active in the community, having the gift of many friends and a strong relationship with the Immanuel Baptist Church. Betty's faith guided her throughout her life, giving her great comfort and strength in all that she encountered and experienced. We will forever be grateful for the lessons we have learned from Betty, and will hold our memories close. We take comfort in knowing Betty has been reunited with Gil, which she had longed for since his passing. A very special thank you to Penny is important to mention on behalf of Betty. Penny cared for and loved Betty for so many years. She was Betty's angel and we are all so grateful for her care, compassion, and unconditional friendship with Betty until her final days.
