LAZURE, Edna Ethel (nee Morrison) Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the age of 101 years. Edna, beloved wife of the late Donald Lazure (1976). Loving and devoted mother of Betty Hodgson and her husband Jim, the late Kenny Lazure, Shirley Kuchma and her husband John, Gerald and his wife Anne, Kathy and her husband Mark Marler, and Wayne and his wife Doris. Cherished granny of Lisa (Cam), Ryan, Nicole, Christine (Sean), Megan, Jessica (Mike), Rachel, Donald (Katie), David (Taylor), Michael (Steph), and Jennifer and Great-GG to Mackenzie, Jordyn, and Cole. Predeceased by her brothers Melville, Sherman, and Gordon Morrison, and sister Mabel Whitnell. Visitation at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Highland Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Julie Van Haaften officiating. Reception followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In memory of Edna, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
