Jean Mabel HICKSON

Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Caressant Care Nursing Home on Mary Street. Jean at the age of 88, was the beloved wife of the late John Hickson (1991). Loving mom of Grace Landers (the late Danny), Linda Anderson (Mark), Joan Kidd (Robert), and John Hickson (Jennifer). Cherished grandma of Heather (Jim), Hollie (Steve); Jason (Emily), Joshua (Ashley), Sara (Scott); William (Jennifer), Anne-Marie (Shaun); April-Jean, Sadie-Jane, Maggie-Jo and Jack. Great-grandma of Brody, Tysen; Cole, Jane, Avery, Henry; Nyah and William. Dear sister of Mildred and predeceased by her siblings Mary, George, Nelson, and Roy. She will be fondly remembered by Rick Janes (Lenore), and missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, January 26 from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Celebration, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay from 12:00 until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. If desired, a memorial donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
