Judy Lubitz Obituary
On November 3, 2022, Judy (Judith O'Donoghue) Lubitz passed away peacefully at age 76, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, surrounded by her family at St. Joseph's at Fleming Long Term Care Home, Peterborough. Judy had a life-long career at the Royal Bank, primarily in Peterborough.
She was dedicated to her Catholic faith, attending weekly mass at St. Martin's Parish for the last 25 years of her life in Ennismore, and loved to shop, read and garden.
Judy was the devoted Wife of 53 years to Ken Lubitz, beloved Mother of three daughters, Shannon Audette, Melissa Lubitz and Meagan Hann, and cherished "Gramma" to her four grandchildren, Sianna, Maizie, Lyla and Grayson.
Judy is survived by her husband, daughters, grandchildren and her three sisters, Janice Allain, Christine Dunn and Cathy Clarke. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Audrey O'Donoghue.
A funeral mass and luncheon reception will be held at St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church (513 Ennis Road, Ennismore). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Peterborough.
