Paul Edward COPPAWAY

Passed peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 72. Paul Coppaway was the beloved husband and best friend of Susanne Coppaway (nee Courneyea). Loving step father of January Ferguson and Clayton Morgan. Much loved Gampy of Darrian and Conner. Proud Pet Dad of Marley and Tabitha. Dear brother of Betty Drodge (Carson), Blaine (Sheila), Darla Blodgett (Mel), Laura Shearer (Bill), Reg and the late John (survived by Jadz) and Ray (the late Pat). Remembered by his nieces, nephews, many other relatives and good friends. Paul always had a smile, a laugh, a good joke to share and he loved to tease. He was a good helper and always ready to pitch in whenever and wherever needed. He will be greatly missed by the entire Hiawatha Community and his extended Pow Wow family whom he loved very much. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Paul, donations to the Hiawatha First Nation Child Care Centre or an Animal Shelter of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
