Phyllis Smith Obituary

Passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023 at Ross Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by cherished husband Clifford Smith. Loving mother of Lisa Durham, Steven Smith (Michelle), Scott Merton, Casey Smith (Sam). Loved and remembered by grandchildren Nathan, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Adam (Miranda), Dylan, Lyndsay, Quentin, Robin, Brandon & Liam. As well new great-grandson Kemper. The family of Phyllis would like to thank everyone who joined them for the Celebration of Life on May 12, 2023. Phyllis danced the night away, celebrating her own life with many of the people she cherished. It was an extraordinary celebration. A large thank you is extended to the Doctors and Nurses on the Palliative Care Unit, with special thanks to Doctor Brett McMillan and Nurse Practitioner Dodie Bucknell.

Phyllis was an amazing women and a teacher of life. She was such a great friend to my mom and always made her laugh (Dorothy). She always gave me an update on her family when we had a visit as you all were her pride and joy. I will always remember her positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to her family.
