Robert CONROY

CONROY, Robert (Bob) Passed away May 6th, 2018, peacefully, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Bob is survived and sadly missed by his children Shauna Closs (Matt), Jesse Conroy (Maddie), and loving wife Julie. Step-children Jason, Amanda, & Adam. Brother Gerry, sisters Cathy (Lu) Conroy (Lee Moncrief), and Di Iliffe (Mike). Loving Papa to Kobie, Grayson, Terra, Aiden, Raedyn, Kiera, Tegan, Enilee, & Brodie. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Clare & Jean, and brother Dave Conroy. Bob will be greatly missed by his former spouses Donna Perritt, and Kim Conroy. Also may close friends whom he loved very much. Bob worked hard all his life. He loved and enjoyed spending time watching Nascar, baseball, and football. He was an honorary member of the Red Green Show. Bob enjoyed playing cards with his friends, and he loved spending time relaxing at home in the gazebo, sitting by the fire with family and friends, and of course a few toddies. He will be remembered for his generosity and his sense of humour, also his favourite saying: ""Have a care"". At the request of Bob, there will be no service. A private family burial will take place May 19th, and there will be a Celebration of Life May 26th, at the Peterborough Lion's Club from 12-3pm.
