Robert Higgs Obituary

Robert (Bob) Higgs: October 28, 1940 – May 10, 2018Bob passed away unexpectedly at the age of 77 years, at Royal University Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Darlene; his daughter Brenda, grandson Nico: his son Robert JR (Stacey): granddaughters Ashlyn, Cassandra, Alexis, great-grand daughter Charly Rae and brother Brent plus many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Robert (Sammy) & Gertrude Higgs and brother William (Bill). Bob was born and raised in North Battleford. After Bob & Darlene married they lived in North Battleford, Yorkton, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon where he retired. The family expresses a special thank you to all the staff on 6200 & CTU5th at Royal University Hospital for their care during his stay. At Bob's request there will be no funeral. A private family interment of his cremated remains will be held at a later date in North Battleford. I knew Bob at the Willows golf course. We played together a few times, but we chatted more in the locker room about Moose Jaw (where my wife and I grew up), Yorkton and North Battleford. He was a very interesting man. My condolences to the family.
