BIRO, Anna Passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in her 97th year, at Linhaven Home for the Aged. Beloved wife of the late Adam. Cherished mother of Mary (Ivica) Mrezar, John (Pat) Biro, Elizabeth (Marijan) Ruzic, Vera (the late Tony) Petrina and Bernadette (Marcello) Pontello. Loving Oma of 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grand- children and two great-great-grand- children. Sister of Teresia Beck. A sincere thank you to Anna's nephew George (Linda) Nikolaus and Jerome (Guitana) Pascal, as well as the Linhaven Angels; Alice, Marta, Ella and Teresa for all of their care and compassion. A special thanks to Dr. Kobylecky for all of her care of Anna. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME , 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, January 14th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 8 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, January 15th at 11 a.m. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow.
