WENGLOWSKI, Anna Passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years Stefan, and her beloved grandson Andrew. Loving mother of Peter and his wife Catherine, Irene and her husband Rick. Cherished baba of Stephen (Astra), Gregory (Ashley), Catherine, Adam (Catherine), Nicholas (fianc? Samantha). Grandbaba of Gregory and Elizabeth, Audrey and Leo, and Hannah. Anna was one of 12 children and is survived by extended family in Ukraine. She was predeceased by two brothers in Canada and is survived by nephews Terry and Daryl of Saskatoon, and niece Sherry of Kelowna. Anna, a longtime resident of Thorold and St. Catharines, was a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, the Ukrainian National Federation, many Ukrainian choirs, Myrhorod (Ukrainian Seniors) and other Ukrainian organizations. Her lifelong loves were family, cooking and baking all things Ukrainian. Baba's strong faith provided the guidance for the values and principles she instilled in her family. Vichnaya Pamyat! Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, April 9th from 5 - 8 p.m. Panachyda will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 10th at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
