CORRITORE, Antonio (Tony) It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Antonio (Tony) Corritore, passed away with his loving family by his side at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 55 years to Michelina (Cicoria) Corritore. Devoted father to Maria (Patrick) Dellavecchia and Giuseppe Corritore. Cherished Nonno of Daniel, Mateo, and Ava. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, sisters, and brothers and sisters-in-law in Italy. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy, especially his cousins Lina (Salvatori), Fernando, and Lucia Marchionda. Predeceased by his parents Maria Michela (Santoro) and Giuseppe Antonio Corritore, his father-in-law Pasquale, and mother-in-law Caterina Cicoria. Antonio was born in Ruvo Del Monte, Basilicata, Italy, and came to Canada with his family in 1969. He was a hardworking and dedicated man at Modern Mosaic who always devoted his time to his family and his garden. Antonio's joyous smile will be missed everyday and his love for soccer will never fade away. A special thanks goes to the staff at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for their compassion and kindness. Friends and Family are invited to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME , 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Road, Niagara Falls on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
