Cornelius Vandenheuvel Obituary

Passed surrounded by his family on December 27, 2022 at Innisfree Hospice in Kitchener in his 85th year. Loving husband for 61 years to Nellie, father to Jo Ann Barber (Terry), Chris (Kim), and Jeannette Kyle (Ron). Opa to grandchildren Kaylin (Shayne), Robin Talsma (Scott), Nicole Barber, Dana Culliton (Zach), and Sarah Morrow (Tyler) and great-grandchildren Jaina and Azalee Yataco, Coleson Culliton, and Jameson Morrow. Predeceased by parents Antonia and Martin, brothers Piet and Martin, and sister Nolda. Survived by siblings Mien, Riek, Henry (Kathryn), Toni (Bert), and Gerry (Dini.) After retiring from work as a machinist, Cor enjoyed several trips to Holland, golf, lawn bowling, cards, camping, and five pin-bowling. He was proud to have his name on many trophies. Donations in Cor's memory can be made to Innisfree Hospice (www.LisaardandInnisfree.com.) Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will take place at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. www.smithsfh.com
