GORGES, Dieter Heinz July 13, 1939 - October 19, 2018 Passed away peacefully at the Woolcott Wing of the Welland Hospital on Friday, October 19, 2018 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of 52 years to Phyllis (nee Horton). Dear father of Dieter (Sandra) and Stacy (Scott Veld). Best Opa in the world to Maxx and Dylan. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Dieter's family will receive visitors at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME 2000 Merrittville Highway, Thorold on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The celebration of Dieter's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
