Giuseppe CONVERTINI Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday January 19, 2021 at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Nina Convertini (1995). Dearly loved father of Joe and the late Peter (1967) Convertini. Dear brother of Palma (Pietro) Loparco and much loved uncle of Joe (Lina) Loparco and the late Antoinette Candusso and great-uncle of Chris (Eva), Carolyn, Peter and Matthew. He will be sadly missed by Rosemary (Mike) Brown and Veronica Grant who were like family to him. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Italy. Predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Mr. Convertini will be remembered by his family for his infectious smile and for his genuine love of family and friends and his ability to make people laugh. He was an avid gardener and cook, and loved to share the fruits of his labour with others. He left his family a legacy of love which will be long remembered. 'Even though I am no longer here, I will always be with you.' Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19 a private visitation and Funeral Service will be held at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls. When it is safe for friends to gather together, a Memorial Mass will be held. To honour Mr. Convertini, donations to St. Ann's Church would be appreciated by his family. Dear Joe, the Loparcos and extended family:
My heartfelt condolences go out to each of you during this saddest of times. Any time spent with 'Papa Joe' was both a privilege and a pleasure. Quick with a smile and to laugh, he was always generous with his fountain of knowledge, he is counted among my blessings to have known him. Riposi in pace, Giuseppe. I will always carry you in my warmest of memories.

Joe and Family:
Our Deepest Condolences
Joe (Giuseppe) was a remarkable man, his smile was contagious and a pleasure to be around.
I want to share a fond memory:
Joe (Giuseppe) and Joe Jr. gave us the Garlic to start our garden and every year we are reminded when to plant it. Joe (Giuseppe) loved his Garden and loved talking about it.
