John EMMETT Obituary
EMMETT, John Robert Peacefully at home surrounded by friends on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in his 72nd year. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Marie Emmett, and siblings Dorothy and Margaret. Survived by his sister Diane, brother-in-law Jim Despond, cousin Richard (Karen) Beck, and niece Lori Flaxy. John was the owner of St. Catharines Gun Club. He loved hunting, fishing, and was a proud sponsor of MUFON efforts. Special thanks to Sandra's Home Care, Bayshore, Quest, and all who cared for Mr. John. The family will receive friends at the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL , 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations to Community Care (Thorold) would be appreciated by the family. ""Best trap and skeet shotgun shooter ever""
