Michael Kamatovic Obituary
Mike was a long-time educator and proud member of the Fort Erie community. His involvement was felt by many worthy organizations including St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus, Fort Erie Minor Hockey, Br. 71 Fort Erie Legion, Greater Fort Erie Youth Soccer and Fort Erie Kinsmen.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 2nd at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, following the Mass, the family will receive friends at Benner Funeral Services from 12 - 4. The Mass will be livestreamed on the St. Michael's Facebook site. If you desire to make a contribution in Mike's honour, a scholarship has been established at the Greater Fort Erie Secondary School. Deepest Sympathy to all of the Kamatovic family on their very sad loss. He will be missed by his many friends and family. He was a huge part of Fort Erie where he left such an impact on so many in his community. My condolences to the family. Mike was a good man whom I got to know first as a soccer coach of FESS team with which we competed and then through his community work. RIP Mike.

It is difficult to put in to words, our hearts go out to your family and loved ones, as it was way too soon. We will miss his warmth and his great attituded that he shared with each and everyone of us. He left behind a great legacy, so successful in life, a strong marriage and three OUTSTANDING sons. Even though he is no longer with us in body, he will always be with us in spirit as his memory will live on through us each and everyday.

Dear Members of the Kamatovic Family:
I am so very sorry to learn about your husband/father´s passing. I do mourn with you. Mike could always put a smile on my face. He had a good heart and I always appreciated all the support he gave me while I was St. Michael´s parish. I will always be grateful to his children who assisted me and served at Mass. I remember all the parties/barbecues at the house. He was very proud of all his children. Mike was one of those persons one cannot forget. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the funeral but please be assured that I will celebrate Mass for Mike and I will pray that God may comfort you. I truly wish I could be present to express my condolences in person but due to personal illness, I am unable to attend. May Mike Rest In Peace and may he greeted by the Risen Christ.
