BISSON, Patrick R?al At peace with his Maker, Pat left us on August 29, 2019 after aggressive treatment for stomach cancer. Pat was a great friend to many. A loving son to Alphonse and Jeanne Bisson. Loving brother and friend to Lucille, Emile, Rita, Maurice, Irène, Suzanne, Ren?, Jeanne-D'Arc. A fun-to-be-around cousin to countless cousins spread all over Quebec and Ontario. Faithful and loving husband to Shirley (his one, true-love). A friend, father, and great champion to Audrey and Chris. A caring uncle to countless nieces and nephews. A Grandpa (Papa) who cherished his time with Brad, Lily, and Stephen. Pat worked at Atlas Steels and General Motors, where he made many friends and plied his craft as a Millwright. He taught countless people, including his family, just how much you can accomplish when you set your mind to something, and that every project and job, no matter how big, always started with the first step. While the plaque at his resting place will list his birth and deceased dates, it's all the things he did and the people he touched between those dates that matters most. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home , 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 72 Empire Street, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
