GRABELL, Richard Donald ""Dick"" Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of Richard (Dick) Donald Grabell on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Kingston General Hospital with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Veronica and loving father to Roxanne (Steve) Henderson, Richard, Mark and Julianne (Mike). Proud grandfather to Kyle, Matthew, Ryan Henderson and Charlotte Grabell. Loving brother of Neil (Diane), Robert, sister-in-law Karen, Mary-Carol, predeceased brothers Roy, William and Bud Grabell and sister-in-law Ruth. Youngest son of predeceased Sam and Irene Grabell. Dick's strong work ethic took him through careers in the Canadian Air Force, and the computer industry and an epic battle against cancer. His stamina and belief that you should always give it your all in love, life, work and play are an enduring and inspiring legacy. Special thanks to the team of doctors and nurses and the Oncology team at the Kingston General Hospital. Family and friends will be received at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 2000 Merrittville Highway, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens to follow.
