Victor passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the age of 80.
Beloved husband to Karin for 53 years. Loving father to Tania (Christian) and Diana (Richard),
Grandfather to Destiny, Justin, and Madison (Lukas) and Great grandfather to Angelina and Arianna. Victor was born in Vizzini, Italy where he leaves behind his sister Nannina, his nephew Gregorio and his niece Pina. Victor left Italy to come to Canada for more opportunities and eventually made Port Dalhousie his home for 42 years. He was sometimes referred to as "the Mayor of Port Dalhousie". He worked for Canada Post, and he was lucky enough to retire at age 52 to enjoy life! Victor was a social butterfly. He loved his daily walks to Lakeside Park and had conversations with everyone that he passed. Victor was a storyteller, jokester and he loved to garden. He enjoyed picnics, bike rides and loved and cherished every day, living life to the fullest. Along with his wife Karin, he was so proud of the empire they built together from nothing. Victor traveled all of his life and loved to vacation anywhere there was a beach and the sun. Rest in peace Papa. You are in paradise by the sea with your parents and the sun always shining down on you. In keeping with Victor's wishes, entombment at Fairview Mausoleum has taken place.
