Wit SROKOWSKI

SROKOWSKI, Wit Peacefully, with courage and faith, on September 3, 2019 in his 83rd year, God called Wit home to join his wife Adolfina Srokowski (2013). Wit is survived by his son Derek, wife Ala; grandchildren Chloe, Charlie and Alicja. Special thank you to Walter Grobelny and his wife Maria; Arthur and Iwona Wytrwal and Maria Srokowski for care and compassion throughout his illness. Wit was an active member at the Canadian Polish society serving with passion for many years. Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, September 5 from 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home Thursday at 7 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street, St. Catharines. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery with reception to follow at the Canadian Polish Hall, 43 Facer Street, St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
