Bonnie JOHNSON Obituary

It's with broken hearts Krista and Jana share the death of our mom, Bonnie Johnson at age 80. Bonnie (nee Bennett) was born and raised in Thunder Bay, before moving to Powassan for her and her beloved Jim to start their long-standing careers as teachers. Bonnie will be tremendously missed by her granddaughter Ayla, daughters Jana and Krista, brother Bill, and all of her in-laws; the Hrymnaks, Ways, Kilbys, Rideoughs. Bonnie was preceded by her husband of 55 years, Jim.
Bonnie made an impact on everyone she met. Everyone. She was a joker, a flirt, a pain-in-the-ass-in-the-most-charming-way. She loved to talk and would take audience with anyone who would engage- she loved to hear other's stories, and was wildly compassionate and generous.
We ask that in her honour please shock someone with a dirty joke!
In lieu of donations, please take time to age well and strong, and consider palliative care for your loved ones in-home; the level of medical support was outstanding.
A small service is being held in Kingston and a future celebration in Powassan is to be announced.
