Marion Harvey

February 2, 1930 - April 21, 2023

It is with sadness that the family of Marion Rena Harvey announces her passing of natural causes at the age of 93 at Belmont Long Term Care in Belleville Ontario on Friday, April 21, 2023. Marion was a loving mother to Allan (Cheryl), Jim (Cathie), Dale (Marja) and Faye Knickle (Len). She was the adoring grandmother of Erin (Eli), Brett (Amanda), Bevin, Helena (Keven), Jamie, Christopher (Ashton) and Devon (Ashley) and great grandmother to Kiira, Gunnar, Henry, Parker, Lincoln, and Alistair. Over the years she was also "mom" to many foster children who came to our family through the Children's Aid Society. Marion is survived by her sister Jean of Australia and predeceased by Ken (Janet), Alvin (Louise deceased), Lloyd and Velma (Carl deceased). She was the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Without question, Mom was guided through her life by her strong, unshakeable Christian faith. She lived by the credo "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". She was kind and giving and treated everyone with respect and received the same in return from all who knew her. A private family service will be held followed by interment in Chapman Cemetery in Magnetawan Ontario with arrangements entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel in Sundridge, Ontario.
