Blair THOMPSON Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce Blair's peaceful passing at Lions Gate Hospital. Blair was born in Winnipeg, but spent most of his life in North Vancouver. After attending SFU and UBC, he began his career as a Librarian, first in Coquitlam, then in North Vancouver District.

Blair was a hobby dabbler, but settled as a ham radio operator. This being said, his greatest pleasure was music, especially film scores.

Blair is fondly remembered by his brothers, Craig (Jodie) and family, Jim (Yvonne) and family, and his partner Janis Hummel and family.

Blair's life will be celebrated at Boal Chapel, North Vancouver, on December 16, 2021 at 1 pm.

PLEASE, DOUBLE VACCINATED ONLY

Blair loved animals, so donations to any animal charity would be fitting.

Blair was a delight to work with at the library. His combination of knowledge and humour was one of a kind.
