KELPIN, Elsbeth Erna Margarete March 8, 1934 - October 8, 2017 Elsbeth Erna Margarete Kelpin passed away peacefully on October 8, 2017 after a long illness. Elsbeth was born on March 8, 1934 in Hansfelde, Germany. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years Gerhard; her son Frank (Barbara); her grandsons Stefan and Garrett; her brother-in-law Heinz (Margot); her niece Manuela (Carlos), their children Marcus, Kyra, and Skyla; her nephew Ralph, his daughter Rachel; as well as many friends in Canada and Germany. She was predeceased by her parents Margarete and Bernhard. Elsbeth loved spending time with family and friends and travelling. Music and dancing brought her great joy. The family would like to sincerely thank her doctors for their care and for the compassionate support of the staff at Capilano Care Centre. Interment will be held on Thursday, October 19th at 2:30 p.m. at Capilano View Cemetery, 1490 - 3rd Street, West Vancouver. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1573 East 18th Avenue, Vancouver.
