1929 – 2025
Erika Meger, 96 years old, of North Vancouver, died peacefully at home on October 23, 2025, surrounded by family.
She was born in Germany, but immigrated to Canada with her parents when she was a few months old. She grew up in Manitoba and then in Chilliwack. Erika and her husband, Art, raised their family in North Vancouver.
Erika was preceded in death by her husband Art, her parents Hedwig (Heddy) and Edmund Schoenberger, and her brother Asher Schoenberger. She is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lions Gate Hospital would be appreciated.
