Duffy and I were close friends for many years beginning with parenthood (Aaron and Dionne) and also became grandparents within four months of each other (Jocelyn and Daniel). We shared many interests, taking Psychology Courses at Douglas College in the 70's and attending various lectures on many subjects. These were some of the best years in my life. She was a very special person and will live on in the hearts of her family.

Sweet Sweet Frances,
Meeting you as your gardener years ago turned into a wonderful friendship. Dropping in for a quick coffee & leaving hours later encouraged, motivated and grounded. Our take away meals while watching skating on CBC, sewing chats & tips, comparing cookbooks and favourite recipes & kitchen gadgets, tea for three - you me and my Mum. Though living blocks from each other our years of greatly penned letters and cards are a treasure. Delightful cat conversations - my furry friend would not be here with out you and all your help. Thank you for our friendship dear lady. We will miss you so much.
Rest in Peace and God Bless you and your family.
Love Carol and Miss. Molly

Duffy was my sister-in-law and inspired me through my adolescence, teen years and young adulthood. I travelled Europe when I was 20 thanks to her encouragement. A truly wonderful woman.

I always looked forward to visiting her when I was a kid. She had different cats that she took in to care for and I loved them all. She was very intune to my hobbies and interests growing up. Every time I visited she would have a newspaper cutout or coupons of some sort for whatever I was into at the time. Her memory was incredible even in her old age and she put lots of thought into everything she did or wanted to do for everyone. She was an amazing grandma with a big heart and I will always value having her in my life for so long. I will always pass on her morals and values to my daughter and she will never be forgotten.
Love you Grandma

We met 1st day of Jr, High grade 8 at Kits. I have been recalling special times we had together. We stayed in touch most of our lives .My sincere condolences to her family. I will make a donation to SPCA . I remember telling her to feed wee kittens goats milk . My BD was Oct. 23 & a special memory brought her to my mind that day.
