Harley Moody Obituary

Harley Douglas "Doug" Moody, 37, of Lone Wolf, passed Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday at Kincannon Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Olustee cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Harley Douglas Moody was born Oct. 24, 1976 in Altus to Don Miles and Elizabeth Faye (Bagwell) Moody. He attended school and graduated from Olustee High School in 1994. He joined the United States Navy and served 11 years with the United States Government as an Electrical Technician. He was also a veteran of Desert Storm. He was employed as a DJ at KEYB Radio in Altus. He was a hot rod and motorcycle fanatic and loved working on old cars. Doug enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. Family was very important to him, and he loved being around family, especially the kids.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Austin and Lucille Moody and grandmother, Ica Bagwell.

Doug is survived by his parents, Don and Faye Moody of Olustee; three daughters, Jenace Aurora Moody, Cicely Harleann Moody, and Emberlin Rebel Moody; and a special daughter, Jolea Nichole Dugan; two sons, Rhett Pierce Austin Moody, Stetson Heart Moody; two brothers, Raymond Moody and wife Cheryl of Olustee, and Larry Moody and wife Sherry of Altus; one sister, Michelle Futrell and husband Josh of Frisco, Texas; a special brother, Gene Heider and wife Christi of Mangum; nieces and nephews, Justin, Collin, Breanna, Ashlynn, Kalynn, Joslyn, Karli, Destiny, and Emilee; and many other family members and a host of friends.

The family will receive family and friends 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, at Kincannon Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to the Moody children's Benefit Account at Stockman's Bank.

Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Best Western to the South or Western Sizzlin' to the North.
