It is with great sadness that we share the news of Jan's passing after 19 years of battling Parkinson's disease. He passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and spirit that will forever be cherished by all those who knew him.
As a devoted husband, he brought warmth and joy to his family daily, his unwavering love serving as a beacon of strength and support. His dedication to his wife Maria Poulina Koeman was steadfast, and their bond was a testament to the power of enduring love.
He enjoyed a long and happy life and is survived by his loving wife Maria, his son Jan Marcus Koeman, his grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. He was predeceased only two and a half months by his youngest son Joffrey Jason Koeman. We trust that he is together again with his son and has peace.
Jan was an interior designer and entrepreneur, whose passion and attention to detail transformed countless offices across Canada.
Beyond his many professional accomplishments, he was an inspirational figure and a constant source of guidance to his two sons. As a grandfather, he doted on his grandchildren who always looked up to him with love and appreciation.
A Celebration Of Life will be held soon, where we will come together to celebrate the remarkable life of Jan Martinus Koeman and honour the profound impact he had on all who knew him.
