We went to the pub, they asked Joe to play, a quick huddle with the drummer and base player (who he had not met before)and away they went. Within 10 minutes the dance floor was packed and people were cheering. Such precious memories. Gone but not forgotten.

Traveled to OHIO state Feb 1-8 to put some of my brothers ashes on our mothers grave in Utica. Our grandparents are there too. It was a very hard week and the saddest thing I have ever had to do. Back in North Vancouver today and it will never be the same without my brother. I will grieve for some time to come and my brother Joe will never leave my heart - I miss you my loving brother Joe. xx Your sister, nova

My memories of Joe go back to when Joe first met Brienna's mom Marion - as the dazzling musician won over her heart...and they had their beautiful baby girl....any years have gone by since, but I'm so glad for the special relationship he had with Brienna and the musical bond they shared. I'm so sorry for thes loss.

Wow, this was such a shock. We had no idea. We hadn't seen Joe in quite awhile. We wish we had. He was truly a great guy. Loved his music and great talent. A true lose to the music community and the community in general. Joe was a true mench. Our thoughts of him will be with us forever. He will be on our prayer list with other great people such as him who had crossed to the other side. Our hearts goes out to all who loved him. Truly a great loss.

We had some really good times in the mid 90's parties out on the deck listening to music, talking music and picking up a guitar once in a while. I believe I was your first male tenant, I'm not sure you would have rented the suite if it wasn't for our musical connection and conversation at the viewing. I also met my wife Megan of sixteen years in the basement suites thanks to you.
Years went by our connection was on and off, lost touch a little bit over the years and caught up in minutes after bumping into all over the North Shore. You will be missed Joe, awesome musician with great stage presents and a flawless voice and giggle... priceless

We will miss his cute little giggle and thrive for life. We can't express enough how our heart poor out to his family and close friends. As well we know how much Joe loved adventure so we keep telling ourselves he has not left us he has just gone away. We imagine he is in Brazil. We love you Jose and Happy Trails our Friend.
